My clients are people who face a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and interpersonal concerns.  I also work with clients who are interested in interpersonal growth and understanding themselves better.

I use an integrative approach that allows me to draw upon different types of therapies that meet your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.  Much of my work draws upon cognitive behavioural therapy and brief solution focused therapy.  I also offer Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR).

Here are some examples of common reasons why clients contact me:

  • Trauma
  • Anxiety
  • Chronic pain
  • Depression
  • Relationship issues
  • Life transitions
  • Effects of motor vehicle accidents
  • Stress
  • Grief and loss
  • Addictions
  • Family of origin issues
  • Low self-esteem
  • Childhood abuse
  • Coping with illness
  • Procrastination
  • Feeling stuck in life
  • Feeling tired of repeating old patterns

In therapy, I can help you explore your goals and desires, identify the obstacles or conflicted feelings that may stand in your way, and develop practical skills and strategies to help you cope better and improve your quality of life.
